the main setting of this book is at camp green lake a dry barren dessert where only a few people live its hot and never rains
the main character is Stanley yelnats the third who just wants to go do his time and go home and follow along .
Stanley and zero escape and almost die
drives a truck into a hole and almost dies twice
the main conflict is that Stanley and zero try to make it to the big thumb.
hey man i read the book to i personally think zero is better
