                             Perks of Being a Wallflower
                                                            5 Stars
                                                        ★★★★★
I gave this book 5 stars because, it is an extremely east book to read. Also the author really made it feel like you were living in the book, you could picture everything that happened. Additionally I really loved how the author put the book in letter format instead of traditional chapters, you could actually tell a lot easier how the main character was feeling.
Setting

The book is set in the early 1990's in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Mostly set at Charlies school or his house.
Main Characters
Charlie: He is a freshman in high school. He is the main character of this book. Charlie has no friends until he see a boy from his wood shop class at football game and he goes to sit with him.
Sam: She is a very smart and carefree girl. Sam and her brother become best friends with Charlie.
Patrick: He is Sams brother, Patrick often got called "Nothing" because kids were calling him "Patty" so he told them "Listen, you call me Patrick, or you call me Nothing."
 Main Plot Events
    • Charlie starts High School and has no friends.
    • Charlie meets and becomes BFF's with two Seniors named Sam and Patrick, who are brother and sister.
    • Charlie has an extremely crucial flashback.
                                           Conflicts
    • The main conflict in this story is the battle between Charlie and his Mental Illnesses.
    • It is an internal conflict
                             Recommended
I would highly recommend this to anyone who is going through a rough time whether its mentally, emotionally, or romantically.
