I gave this book 5 stars because it was really good and I want to keep reading it. All the characters were interesting, also the character had me in suspense.

Setting 
This fantasy book takes place in Kandelaar. One of the main characters start in "Village Darc, Dominion Blackthorn" it a far away island at the sea by "Leviathan Deeps" which had a lot of lakes.
Second main character takes place in "Oldbones Keep, Dominion Dragonfell" which it claimed it creation, place of a dark world, where a she dragon lay it egg by the sea. Third character at the "Temple of Oum'ilah" take place is it had a outer courtyard, has a temple that made of stone, it a holy place.

Main Character  
                                      There are three main character they are Drakkor, Ashar, Qhuin. In this book they haven't meet yet until later in the book, when two main character meet. But in the book they have their own chapter, telling about the character in the chapter.

Drakkor: He the main antagonist in the story, but one of the main character. They called him Drakkor the Blood of the Dragon because in the beginning of the book, as a boy, he got lashed in the back, which made him know nothing about love for people. Which he is a bad person, when people try to find Drakkor he will make them join him or he will get killed, and they won't survive. 

Ashar: He is one of the protagonist in this book. Ashar is kind, and caring for people. He is the blood of a navigator which means he a protector of the stones. He have to bring these stones back to a crown, which bring them light. He dosen't know what to do when someone had to stay and he had to leave him, and he didn't what to do that.

Qhuin: He is a slave that want freedom. Qhuin follow his master order when he told what to do. Qhuin really good with horses. He has one of the stones, that he got when he was a baby and was found by someone. But close to the end of the book the prince wants to capture this legend horse, Qhuin said he will find it, if he dosen't he will say that he will die or he gets this horse he will get his freedom.

Main Plot Events
Ashar is a protector of these stones, and he has to find these stone bring them back to the crown to bring light to the world, which he have to find the stones before Drakkor get them. While he try to find these stone his save this girl named Celestine, which they have to escape from Drakkor because Drakkor men and him are at this holy place.

Drakkor wants to find these stones, so he can be Immortal, and no one can hurt them. Drakkor goes to the holy place when he get there, he killed the holy sages, and made Oracle to get some of the stones.

Qhuin in the book he got some trouble from Sargon, Sargon is a prince. Sargon ask when one his men to beat up Qhuin. Qhuin couldn't move because he was in chains, and when Sargon man left, he was left with rats, these rats were bitting him, until a arrow hit a rat, the rest of the rats quickly ran off. Qhuin saw it was a boy that save them from the rats.

Conflicts
Internal Conflict: Ashar think he won't be a good protector for the stones.
Internal Conflict: Drakkor dosen't know if he should help the kid.
External Conflict. Ashar and Drakkor fighting, for the stones.
External Conflict: Drakkor vs the King Kublan men.

Recommendation
I would recommend this book if you like fantasy, adventure. This book is for everyone to read. When I read this book, I was like what happended, made me want to read more because everything was very interesting to read.
