Peter Carey Period 5

Peter Carey
Period 5

The Maze Runner By James Dashner
PERSONAL RATING:
I rate this book 4/5 stars because There are way too many differences in the book compared to the movie I wish the producers would work together and make the movie the same as the movie.

SETTING:

The main setting is in the maze witch no one knows where that is. The time period is weird because they have to use very old ways of life but the creatures of the maze are very new and amazing so I would say that it is in the future.

MAIN CHARACTERS:

Thomas is the second to last person to be sent in to this glade. He is the main character of this book. He does not like to not know things so he ask's lots of questions. He becomes one of the runners.

Teresa is the only girl in the glade she is the last person to be coming up to the glade. She remember more than everyone else when they first come in the glade and she knows Thomas's name.

PLOT POINTS:

  • The "creatures" are robots and may be controlled by another human.
  • There is a way out of the maze and they have a piece to get out but some people don't want to leave there homes.
  • No one remembers anything about there life exempt the basics like how to survive how to talk there names all that stuff
MAIN CONFLICT OF THE BOOK:

The main problems are no one can remember anything. They are stuck in the maze.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THE BOOK TO PEOPLE WHO LIKE:

Action and adventure liked the hunger games.
It is post apocalyptic so people that like books like that.
If you hate reading you can watch the movie.
