I give this book a 4 star review because it is very realistic and relatable for me being a wrestler. I think the wrestling part didnt seem spot on. All around good book

coho high school, late 20th century.
Pete Shropshire: A high school teenager who is athletic and is open to trying different sports.

Johnny Rivers: petes best friend and workout partner

pete is a junior varsity wrestler at coho high. his best friend, Johnny Rivers is also a wrestler who has encouraged him to keep wrestling. this story is about overcoming adversity as well as friendships ending up possibly a little more than friends with a female wrestler.

Pete hatches a plan to put on a show when he wrestles female wrestler put on a World Wrestling Federation type performance that is entertaining but faked, and it costs the entire match for Coho High.

This is a realist fictional book
I would recommend this book to all athletes. It is a fun story with a lot of twists and turns.
